STATION X – TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all individuals (“you”, “participant”) registering for Station X – The Residential Espionage Experience (“the Event”). By completing the registration process and paying the required deposit, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. PRICING & PAYMENT STRUCTURE

1.1 The total cost for participation in the Event is £1,399.

1.2 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

1.3 Balance: The remaining balance of £1,199 must be paid in full no later than 1st July.

1.4 Failure to pay the remaining balance by the 1st July deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of your place and the forfeiture of your deposit.

1.5 Payments are processed via our secure booking platform, and all places are subject to availability until the deposit is received.

2. REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION

2.1 The £200 deposit confirms your intent to participate and covers administrative, onboarding, and event preparation costs.

2.2 The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

2.3 If you wish to cancel your participation after paying the full balance, you must notify Firestorm Events Group Ltd in writing. Refunds for the remaining balance (excluding the deposit) will only be considered if requested at least 60 days prior to the Event start date.

3. ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

3.1 Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of the Event.

3.2 Participants must be physically and mentally capable of taking part in:

  • Extended periods of movement on foot.
  • Intense mental and psychological scenarios.
  • Urban movement across Oxford.

3.3 Firestorm Events reserves the right to decline participation or remove a participant from the Event where safety, conduct, or suitability concerns arise.

4. TRAVEL & ADDITIONAL COSTS

4.1 Participants are solely responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel to and from Oxford.

4.2 Firestorm Events accepts no liability for travel delays, cancellations, or missed attendance due to transportation issues.

5. EVENT NATURE & DISCLAIMERS

5.1 Station X is an immersive role-play experience designed for entertainment and education.

5.2 No real intelligence operations, law enforcement powers, weapons, or physical confrontation are involved.

5.3 Participants acknowledge that the experience includes simulated surveillance, psychological pressure, and high-intensity decision-making environments.

6. SAFETY, INSURANCE & LIABILITY

6.1 Firestorm Events holds appropriate public liability insurance for the Event.

6.2 Participants take part entirely at their own risk.

6.3 Firestorm Events, its staff, instructors, and partners shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury (except where required by law).
  • Loss or damage to personal property.
  • Psychological distress arising from immersive content.
  • Third-party actions or public interference.

6.4 Participants must follow all instructions issued by Event staff at all times.

7. CONDUCT & REMOVAL

7.1 Participants must behave professionally and responsibly throughout the Event.

7.2 The following may result in immediate removal without refund:

  • Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour.
  • Failure to follow instructions or intoxication.
  • Breach of confidentiality or unsafe actions involving the public.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 All Station X content, including scenarios, scripts, tradecraft techniques, and operational structures, are the intellectual property of Firestorm Events Group Ltd and Matthew Dunn.

8.2 Participants must not record, photograph, share, or publish any sensitive Event content without express written consent.

9. MEDIA CONSENT

9.1 Participants consent to being photographed or filmed during the Event for marketing, promotional, and press materials.

9.2 Participants may opt out of media usage by submitting a written request prior to the Event.

10. EVENT CHANGES & FORCE MAJEURE

10.1 Firestorm Events reserves the right to amend, reschedule, or cancel the Event due to operational requirements, safety concerns, or Force Majeure.

10.2 In the event of a full cancellation by Firestorm Events, deposits and balances will be refunded. No liability is accepted for external costs (such as travel) incurred by participants.

11. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By registering and paying the £200 deposit, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
  • Agree to the total cost of £1,399.
  • Commit to paying the remaining balance by 1st July.
  • Accept the non-refundable nature of the deposit.
  • Agree to comply with all safety, conduct, and confidentiality requirements.
