1. What is the Firestorm International Classic?

2. Who can take part?
The event is open to male amateur golfers aged 16 and over who:
- Hold an official golf handicap
- Can provide proof of handicap
- Are physically able to play three competitive rounds
- Can commit to the full event schedule
This is a male-only event.
3. Is this a charity fundraising event?
Yes. Participation in the Firestorm International Classic is linked to fundraising for Brave Wolf Cancer Foundation for Children.
To attend the event, participants must:
- Raise £3,750 in fundraising
- Fundraising must be completed exclusively via JustGiving.com by June 1st 2026
- 100% of donations go directly to the charity
The charity has given full consent to cover the participant’s event costs only once the £3,750 fundraising target has been successfully reached.
You can also choose to self-fund your place. See question 7 (Charity Fundraising entry is not available to Team USA players as the charity is a UK charity. Self funded option only available).
4. What is included if I fundraise for Brave Wolf?
Once £3,750 is raised through JustGiving, the charity will cover:
- Single-occupancy hotel room (4 nights at Druids Glen luxury resort)
- Return travel cost to the event
- All meals included
- 3 competitive rounds of golf on the championship course
- Official Firestorm International Classic team clothing
- Access to all team dinners, ceremonies & events
- Reach fundraising target £3500 by 1st June for the Charity
5. What happens if I do not reach the £3,750 fundraising target?
Participants must reach the £3,750 fundraising target to attend the event.
- Fundraising must be completed by June 1st 2026
- If the target is not met by this deadline, the participant will not be permitted to attend
- The registration deposit is non-refundable if the target is not achieved
6. Who is Brave Wolf Cancer Foundation for Children?
Brave Wolf Cancer Foundation for Children is a registered charity dedicated to supporting children and families affected by cancer through financial assistance, experiences, and wellbeing support.

7. Can I pay for the event myself and not raise funds for charity?
Yes.
If you prefer to self-fund your place and not participate in the charity fundraising programme, you may do so.

- A £250/$350 deposit is required to secure your place
- £2250/$3000 balance due on 1st June 2026

10. How do I secure my place?
To register:
- Complete the online registration form
- Pay the £250/$350 non-refundable deposit
- £2250/$3000 balance due on 1st June 2026
If fundraising:
- Set up your JustGiving fundraising page
- Reach the £3,750 fundraising target by the deadline of 1st June 2026
Only participants who reach the target will be permitted to attend.
11. What happens after I register?
Once you complete the registration form and secure your place by paying the required deposit, the following steps will take place:
- Written confirmation: You will receive a full welcome and confirmation pack from Firestorm Experiences confirming your place at the Firestorm International Classic 2026.
- Fundraising onboarding:
You will be contacted directly by Brave Wolf Cancer Foundation for Children, who will:
- Welcome you to the charity programme
- Provide a comprehensive fundraising support pack
- Guide you step-by-step on how to set up your JustGiving fundraising page
- Share proven fundraising ideas, tips, and best practices
- Offer ongoing encouragement and support to help you successfully reach your fundraising target

12. Where does the event take place?
The event is hosted at Druids Glen Golf Course & Resort, County Wicklow, Ireland – often referred to as the “Augusta of Europe.”
13. What is the accommodation?
All participants will stay at Druids Glen Resort.
- Each participant receives their own private hotel room
- No room sharing is required
- Accommodation is included once fundraising targets are met
14. Do I need to make my own way to the venue?
The Charity provides return travel cost to the event for those who are fundraising for the event.
All other core event costs are covered once the fundraising target is achieved.
15. Do I need to bring my own golf clubs?
Yes. All participants must bring their own golf clubs. Club hire is not included
Late arrivals may affect your team position.
16. What clothing is provided?
Each participant will receive:
- 1 official team T-shirt per day
- 1 official team jumper
Participants must supply their own:
- Golf trousers or shorts
- Golf shoes and accessories
- Weather-appropriate clothing
17. How do handicaps work?
- Handicaps are used to allocate shots fairly in match play
- All players must provide official proof of handicap
- Firestorm reserves the right to verify handicaps with home clubs
- Any falsification will result in immediate disqualification
18. What is the tournament format?
The event follows a Ryder Cup–style structure:
- Tuesday: Doubles (Fourball)
- Wednesday: Doubles (Foursomes)
- Thursday: Singles
Final formats and pairings will be announced closer to the event.
19. When do I need to arrive?
Participants must arrive at Druids Glen no later than 7:00pm on Monday prior to the first day of competition. This allows time for:
- Registration
- Check-in
- Team introductions
- Opening dinner
20. Can I request a playing partner?
Yes. Requests will be considered, especially if travelling with a friend, but final pairings are determined by event officials to ensure competitive balance.
21. Can friends or family attend?
Friends or partners may stay at the resort subject to availability but must:
- Book accommodation directly with Druids Glen
- Cover their own meals and expenses
- Not attend official player-only dinners unless approved
If sharing your room with a partner, this must be declared in advance.
22. Are photographs and videos taken during the event?
Yes. Photography and filming will take place for marketing and promotional purposes. You may opt out by notifying Firestorm in writing before the event begins.
