These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants (“you”, “player”, “participant”) who apply to take part in the Firestorm International Classic 2026 (“the Event”). By registering, paying the deposit, and participating in fundraising, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. EVENT OVERVIEW

1.1 The Firestorm International Classic is a four-day amateur golf competition between Team USA and Team Europe, taking place at Druids Glen Golf Course, Ireland.
1.2 The Event includes competitive match play, accommodation, meals, official team clothing, ceremonies, and organised social events.
1.3 Firestorm acts as the event organiser and coordinator.
1.4 Participation in the Event is conditional upon successful completion of a charity fundraising requirement (see Section 4).

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Participants must be aged 16 or over at the time of the Event.
2.2 All participants must hold a valid official golf handicap and provide proof when requested.
2.3 By registering, you confirm you are physically fit and capable of playing three competitive rounds of golf.
2.4 Firestorm reserves the right to refuse or withdraw participation at its discretion for reasons of safety, fairness, conduct, or eligibility.

3. REGISTRATION & DEPOSIT

3.1 A £250/$350 non-refundable registration deposit is required to secure a provisional place in the Event.
3.2 The deposit covers administrative, planning, and organisational costs and is non-refundable under all circumstances, including failure to fundraise, withdrawal, illness, or inability to attend.
3.3 A place is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

4. CHARITY FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENT

4.1 Participation in the Event is strictly conditional upon successful fundraising for Brave Wolf Cancer Foundation for Children (“the Charity”).
4.2 Each participant must raise a minimum of £3,750 in charitable donations.
4.3 All fundraising must be conducted exclusively through JustGiving.com using a fundraising page approved by the Charity.
4.4 This requirement ensures:

  • Transparency
  • Regulatory compliance
  • That 100% of donations go directly to the Charity

4.5 Fundraising through alternative platforms, cash collections, or personal transfers will not be accepted.
4.6 Charity Fundraising entry is not available to Team USA players as the charity is a UK charity. Self funded option only available.

5. FUNDRAISING DEADLINE

5.1 The full fundraising target of £3,750 must be reached by June 1st 2026.
5.2 Participants who fail to reach the fundraising target by this deadline:

  • Will not be permitted to attend the Event
  • Will forfeit their £250 deposit
  • Will not receive any substitute experience, refund, or credit
  • 5.3 No exceptions will be made.

6. CHARITY CONSENT & EVENT FUNDING

6.1 The Charity has provided full written consent to cover the Event costs for participants who successfully meet the £3,750 fundraising target.
6.2 Event costs covered by the Charity include:

  • Return travel cost to the event
  • Accommodation
  • Meals
  • Tournament entry
  • Team clothing
  • Organised Event activities

6.3 Only participants who meet the fundraising target are authorised to attend the Event.

7. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

7.1 Participants must arrive no later than 7:00pm on Monday, the day prior to the first competition day.
7.2 Firestorm is not responsible for missed arrivals, travel delays, or transport disruptions.

8. WHAT IS INCLUDED (ONCE FUNDRAISING TARGET IS MET)

  • Return travel cost to the event
  • Single-occupancy hotel accommodation (no room sharing)
  • All meals from Monday evening to Thursday evening
  • 3 competitive rounds of golf (Doubles x2, Singles x1)
  • Official Firestorm International Classic team clothing
  • Access to all official dinners, ceremonies, and team events
  • Tournament administration and scoring

9. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

  • Alcoholic drinks
  • Personal golf insurance
  • Golf club hire (players must bring their own clubs)
  • Additional golf outside tournament play
  • Personal expenses, extras, or hotel incidentals

10. HANDICAPS & MATCH FORMAT

10.1 Handicaps will be used to allocate shots fairly.
10.2 Proof of handicap is mandatory.
10.3 Any falsification of handicap information will result in immediate removal without refund.
10.4 Tournament formats and rulings are final and at the discretion of Firestorm officials.

11. BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT

11.1 Participants must behave respectfully at all times.
11.2 Any abusive, disorderly, intoxicated, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the Event without refund.

12. CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWAL

12.1 The £250/$350 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
12.2 Participants who withdraw or fail to meet fundraising targets will lose their place and deposit.
12.3 No refunds or transfers will be issued for non-attendance.

13. EVENT CHANGES

13.1 Firestorm reserves the right to amend the Event schedule, format, accommodation, or activities where required.
13.2 Any material changes will be communicated as early as reasonably possible.

14. LIABILITY & INSURANCE

14.1 Participants attend and play at their own risk.
14.2 Firestorm is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, travel, accommodation, or personal conduct.
14.3 Participants are strongly advised to obtain personal travel and golf insurance.

15. MEDIA CONSENT

15.1 Participants consent to photography and filming during the Event.
15.2 Content may be used for marketing, PR, and promotional purposes.
15.3 Opt-out requests must be submitted in writing prior to the Event.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
